Size and Location
We have 150 acres of old growth trees, Manzanillo, Mission and Ascolano. The original planting was for table olives but since the early 1990s the fruit has been used for oil production. We make table olives for our own use and are trying out different techniques but our primary focus is to make the best oil.
An old railroad bed and right of way runs through the property. The bed was leveled but no tracks were ever laid. We use this as a roadway for the grove and it has held up well. We have 165 acres as certified organic through California Certified Organic Farmers, CCOF, with 150 in olives and 11 open.
The property is in the Oroville, CA mailing area between the towns of Palermo and Honcut, just south of Oroville, CA
